About Vinyl Land Records Webstore
Our online shop is divided in two separate stores: UK Shop and Brasil Shop, each with their own distinct and separate stock.
Even though we do have a year round operation in Brazil and all our artists and management are based there, all our records so far have been manufactured in Europe, and our stock and warehouse is based in London.
Therefore you are more likely to find most of our records in only in our UK Shop. Our Brasil Shop stocks most merchandise (like Tshirts and badges) or records from other labels.
Only a few of our releases make their to Brazil and can usually be found via the bands themselves and at our Vinyl Land release parties, but these tend to disappear very fast.
We encorage our supporters to shop from our UK Shop as soon as the recordsare released, as we only do very limited runs and this gives you a better chance to get your copy before they sell out!
Do you have an actual shop I can visit?
Sorry but we operate from our warehouse and we don’t have real-world shopping facilities.
1.2 Ordering & Payment
How do I know if an item is in stock?
Please check on the item page in which store is the item available first. If the ‘BUY’ button is available, it’s because we have it in stock.
Occasionally a record may be shown as being in-stock after it has sold out. If this occurs and you order it, you will be given a full refund.
What forms of payment do you accept?
UK Shop – So far we only accept Paypal, which is free and easy to set up, and also takes debit and credit cards.
Brasil Shop –we accept Paypal and bank transfers (for orders inside Brazil only). If you wish to buy using bank transfer, please send an email to orders@vinyllandrecords.com with the details of your order and we’ll provide you with the instructions.
Is ordering from the Vinyl Land website secure?
Yes,all our orders are processed through Paypal which is probably the safest way to pay online.
Can I order by telephone or fax?
Sorry but all orders must be placed via our secure online order system. This allows us to have an electronic record of the transaction which we can both refer to if necessary.
Can I buy an item thats available only in the UK shop together with one from the Brasil Shop?
No, shopping, ordering and payment in each shop is completely separate from the other, as each shop has diferent stock and separate distribution centres.
Can you supply wholesale orders to shops and distributors?
We can supply records at wholesale prices to some shops and distributors for territories with whom we don’t have a distribution agreement. Please email info@vinyllandreocrds.com for details.
1.3 Delivery
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, both of our shops can ship abroad. A person in the UK can shop in the Brasil Shop, and vice-versa.
How long do you take to despatch an order?
We run a very small operation but our goal is to ship daily during working hours after payment has been cleared.
How will the package be delivered?
In the UK we use second class Royal Mail for standard deliveries. For the rest of the world your package will usually be delivered by your national postal service. For larger boxes delivery may be made by DHL or Fedex.
How long will my order take to arrive?
A routh estimate of delivery time for standard shipping after we post your order is as follows:
UK Shop
UK – 2 to 5 working days,
Europe – 3 to7 working days.
Rest of the world – 7 to 10 working days.
The time that your order takes to arrive depends on your distance from the UK, and on the efficiency of your local postal service. Depending on factors beyond our control (for example local delivery problems, and customs inspections/delays) postage times can sometimes take much longer.

Is my package insured against loss or damage in the post?
At the point of purchase you have the option to pay £5.00 for Registered Post which covers against loss or damage in the post. For more info on shipping go to the link (place hyperlink)

Is it possible to collect my order from your offices, instead of having it mailed?
We cannot guarantee that, but if you are interested in picking up your orders, please write to orders@vinyllandrecords.com and we will do our best to try to acommodate your needs.
If I order from outside the UK, will I pay customs charges?
If you are ordering from within EU Europe, you will pay no customs charges. Most other countries allow small packages to be delivered without charge, but some charge customs duty – please contact your national customs office regarding this subject, as the customer is always liable for any such charges.
1.4 Returns
What if I receive a faulty record?
We will replace any faulty item free of charge, although we cannot refund your return postage costs. Please contact us via orders@vinyllandrecords.com, and do not return faulty items to us without contacting us first. Either a replacement non-faulty copy of the same product (when in stock), store credit or refund will be given.
** a little warping on vinyl records is unfortunately to be expected, the result of transport, sometimes even from the factory itself. Unless the warping and bending is extreme, we cannot replace your records on those terms**
What if I don’t like the records I have ordered? Can I return them?
Wherever possible we provide accurate descriptions of records and also post soundclips and pictures. On that basis all sales are final.

2.1 Artists
I have a band that’s interested in releasing our record on vinyl, can you manufacture it for us?
Unfortunetely we are only a label who is dedicated exclusively to releasing vinyl records, but we do not manufacture our own records and do not offer this type of service.
On the other hand, if you are interested in putting out your own record on vinyl, we are more than happy to point you to the right direction and let you know the best ways to go about it. It’s not easy or cheap, but it’s in our best interest to see more and more records been made, and we’ll never be able to cope we the overwhelming volume of great music that’s made, especially Brazilian.
